Terms of Service

These terms apply when you buy services from Jeremy Redlinger SEO (“I,” “me,” “my”), based in Elk River, MN. By placing an order or paying a deposit, you (“you,” “your”) agree to them. Questions? Email jeremy@jeremyredlingerseo.com or call (763) 957-0858.

$750 Local Business Website

What’s included

A custom WordPress website with a home page, up to 7 service pages, up to 15 city pages, and a page for each city + service combination (up to 105), plus contact and about pages, basic on-page SEO, schema markup, analytics setup, and your first year of hosting. Anything beyond this is extra work, and I’ll quote it before starting.

Price and payments

  • The total price is $750: a $250 deposit to start, and a final payment of $500 once you’ve reviewed and approved your site.
  • Your site goes live after the final payment is received.
  • Payments are processed securely by Stripe. I never see or store your full card number.

Deposit refunds

You can cancel and get your $250 deposit back in full if you ask within 24 hours of paying it. Email jeremy@jeremyredlingerseo.com. After 24 hours, work on your project has started and the deposit is non-refundable.

Revisions

Three rounds of revisions are included. A round is one set of changes you send me at the same time, covering the design and written content. Changes after the third round, or new pages and features, are quoted before any work is done.

What I need from you

  • Accurate information about your business, services and service area, and timely answers to my questions.
  • Your logo, photos and any other materials you want used. You confirm you have the right to use everything you send me.
  • Feedback and approvals when I ask for them.

If I don’t hear back

If you don’t respond to a request for information, materials, feedback or approval within 14 days, I may close your project. Your deposit is not refunded if the project is closed. If you want to restart later, the work will be scheduled based on my availability, and I may ask for a new deposit.

Ownership

Once you’ve paid in full, you own your website: its design, the content I wrote for it, and your images and materials. You can keep it, move it to another host, or have someone else work on it. WordPress, plugins, fonts and similar third-party software remain under their own licenses. Until the final payment is made, the work stays mine and your site isn’t launched.

Your domain

Your domain name (web address) is registered in your name and belongs to you. Domain registration fees are paid by you to your registrar and aren’t included in the price.

Hosting

  • Your first year of hosting is included, starting on the day your site launches.
  • After the first year, hosting renews automatically every year at $250/year, charged to the card saved when you paid. You authorize these yearly charges until you cancel.
  • You can cancel hosting any time before your renewal date by emailing jeremy@jeremyredlingerseo.com. Your hosting continues until the end of the year you’ve paid for.
  • If you cancel or move to another host, I’ll give you a full copy of your site so you can take it with you.
  • If you choose to keep your own hosting, the website price is the same. Your host needs to support a current version of WordPress, and speed and uptime are then up to them.

No ranking guarantees

Your site is built to give you the best possible chance in Google and other search engines, but nobody can guarantee specific rankings, traffic or sales. Search engines decide their results.

General terms

Limitation of liability

My total liability for any claim related to my services is limited to the amount you paid me in the 12 months before the claim. I’m not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits, lost data, or problems caused by third-party services like your domain registrar, email provider, hosting outside my control, or Google.

Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order applies to that order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota.
